With the increasing development of the new media,WeChat has been rapidly developed and widely applied to life and learning.Furthermore,it is becoming more and more important to the field of education,playing an inestimable role.Its new functions,such as WeChat Group,Circle of Friend,WeChat Public Account,continue to be applied to education and teaching,and are regarded as new tools for mobile learning.WeChat,as an auxiliary to the traditional teaching mode,improves the space of English teaching and promotes students' learning efficiency and enthusiasm.What matters most is that it not only becomes an important tool for communication with teachers and students,but also brings new opportunities for the development and innovation of English teaching.Based on the above,the author has read relevant literatures at home and abroad to obtain the theoretical basis,and the current status of WeChat development,and summarized the successful experience and existing problems in the application of WeChat in teaching,and investigated students of senior three from Wuyuan No1.middle school,in Bayannur City,Inner Mongolia to find the problems existing in senior English writing through questionnaire.Therefore,the author conducted the experiment of the application of WeChat to senior English writing in order to solve the problems such as the monotonous writing teaching methods,the students' lack of enthusiasm for writing and the heavy burden of teachers' writing correction.During the period of the study the author gave full play to the advantages of WeChat to realize the goals of optimizing the classroom teaching model,arousing students' enthusiasm for writing,forming the evaluation model of self-evaluation,mutual evaluation and teachers' optimal evaluation to relievethe heavy task of teachers' writing correction.In this study,the author chose two classes as the experimental class and the comparative class.The experiment was carried out for 32 weeks.In addition,before and after the experiment,two instruments are used,that is,test and questionnaire.Data and information were collected and analyzed by means of SOJUMP and SPSS.The experimental data show the application of WeChat to senior English writing optimizes the writing teaching mode,effectively improves the enthusiasm of students' writing,guides students' products in time and effectively,thus improving the students' English writing level and greatly reduces the burden of teachers' correction.The thesis is composed of five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the study,and the basic structure of the thesis.The second chapter is about the theoretical basis of the application of WeChat to senior English writing,namely,mobile learning theory,cognitive learning theory and action learning theory,and the introduction to WeChat and the present study of the application of WeChat to teaching at home and abroad.The third chapter introduces the study design including questions,subjects,objectives,and instruments.The fourth chapter is mainly about the results and analyses.The fifth chapter is mainly a summary of conclusions,implications and suggestions in the experiment.The author sincerely hopes that this study can bring some enlightenment to senior English writing teaching,help teachers better know the application of WeChat to senior English writing,and form a more effective writing teaching model.
