In the new century,the demand for people to use the Internet for social communication and learning is increasing.The popularity of the Wechat platform undoubtedly meets people’s needs in these aspects to the greatest extent.It is not only an important medium for information communication and interpersonal communication but also a new way for people to acquire knowledge.As in other industries,the education field is becoming more and more aware of the importance of the Wechat platform and is constantly applying its new functions in education and teaching.This thesis applies the Wechat platform to senior high school English writing teaching,aiming to explore new ways of senior high school English writing teaching by using new network means and trying to find some solutions to some problems existing in the current senior high school English writing teaching.In this study,students from Class 1901 and Class 1902,in Grade 1 from Hezhou No.4 Senior High School,Hezhou City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,are selected as research subjects.For 15 weeks,the author carried out the teaching practice of English writing assisted by Wechat platform,aiming to answer the following questions:(1)Can the Wechat platform assisted teaching mode facilitate the students’ writing interest,writing confidence and writing motivation in senior English writing?(2)Can the Wechat platform assisted teaching mode effectively improve the English writing achievement of senior high school students? The experimental analysis results fully show that,with the help of the Wechat platform,students’ English writing interest,English writing confidence and English writing motivation have been improved,and the English writing achievement of the students in experimental class has also been improved.At the same time,it can relieve teachers’ burden of correcting compositions and provides new insights for English writing teaching for the teachers in senior high schools.
