A Corpus-based Study Of Modern Chinese Progressive Conjunctions

This paper studies modern Chinese progressive conjunctions,which is a subclass of modern Chinese conjunctions.Through the search of related books,the scope of investigation of progressive Chinese conjunctions in modern Chinese is determined.In the Peking University corpus,a large number of examples are collected,and the sampling corpus is obtained by the method of equidistant sampling.The characteristics of the subclass of modern Chinese progressive conjunctions are analyzed.The syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects are examined in detail,and according to the corpus.Comparative analysis.At present,scholars’ research on this subcategory focuses on the discussion of complex sentences,syntactic,semantic,pragmatic and logical analysis,discussion of related marks,discussion of case studies,and discussion of Chinese as a foreign language.This paper discusses the distribution of progressive conjunctions,internal differences and linguistic differences,and hopes to have a more comprehensive understanding of modern Chinese progressive conjunctions.The full text is divided into the following three parts:Introduction: This part summarizes the research on the related research of progressive conjunctions;clarifies the meaning and purpose of the topic,the research methods and the source of the corpus.Body: Divided into four chapters.The first chapter determines the scope of progressive Chinese conjunctions in modern Chinese,a total of 19,statistics on the frequency of progressive conjunctions in the corpus and analysis,divided into oral,historical,applied,newspapers,literature,television,comics Nine categories of online corpus and translation works.The second chapter to the fourth chapter are the main parts,which analyzes the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects in detail.The second chapter firstly uses the method of equidistant sampling to determine the corpus,and uses the principle of "sentence positioning" and "subject positioning" to analyze the position distribution of progressive conjunctions in sentences;secondly,to investigate the distribution of progressive conjunctions in different sentence categories.The progressive complex sentences of progressive conjunctions exist in declarative sentences,interrogative sentences and exclamatory sentences.Implicit sentences are not found in the corpus of the investigation.Finally,the cases of progressive conjunctions used alone,in combination and in conjunction in sentences are considered.The single use case is relatively high.The third chapter firstly analyzes a large number of corpora,and concludes that the logical semantics of progressive sentence has six kinds of parallel,progressive,turning,causal,concession and coherence.Secondly,the progressive sentence is divided into subjective and objective.According to the class analysis,the objective progression is characterized by the depth,scope,quantity,time and semantics.The subjective progression is divided into three aspects: the speaker’s perspective,the speaker’s emotion and the speaker’s understanding.Finally,a lot of examples of concept reduction,expansion and transition are found.The concept reduction is divided into three aspects: “yes ” structure,verb-object structure and predicate form.The concept is expanded into “yes” structure,verb or guest.There are three aspects of structure,noun form or subject-predicate structure.The concept is divided into three parts: “ yes ”structure,verb-object structure or verb and subject-predicate structure.The fourth chapter first explores the relationship between progressive conjunctions and the position of focus.Through the analysis of the focus of different progressive sentences,whether the progressive conjunctions can be used as the means of indicating the focus and the level of the hierarchy;secondly,the progressive complex sentence is discussed.Presupposition,the progressive relationship is the presupposition of the progressive complex sentence.The presupposition of the previous clause and the presupposition in the specific context are also the presets of the progressive complex sentence,in order to forward the sentence,pass the sentence,and force the The sentence is analyzed as an example.Finally,the relationship between the dual-phonetic features of Chinese and the frequency of use of modern Chinese progressive conjunctions is analyzed,as well as the relationship between genre differences and the frequency of use of modern Chinese progressive conjunctions.Conclusion: This part summarizes the results of this paper,expounding the modern Chinese progressive conjunctions from several aspects: syntax,semantics and pragmatics.Rethinking the shortcomings of this paper and proposing problems to be further explored and resolved.
