On the basis of the accumulation of previous literature, the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels developed to a new stage, showing new characteristics, becoming a prosperous period of ancient Chinese ocean-related novels and a brilliant chapter in the development history of ancient ocean-related novels.Previously, the study of the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels has not been in-depth,so it is of great value and significance to conduct in-depth study of the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels from the perspective of literature and literature. The first part combs the development context of the pre-Ming novel, summarizes the development characteristics of the pre-Ming novel in different stages, and clarifies the special status of the Ming novel in the development history of ancient Chinese novel.Generally speaking, the ocean-related novels before Ming Dynasty can be divided into three stages: Pre-Qin period,Qin,Han,Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties period,Tang,Song and Yuan period.Pre-Qin period,as the embryonic stage of literary forms of various literary genres, was mostly mythological and legendary stories,so it was the construction period of imagination;in Qin,Han,Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, because of the introduction of Buddhism and the flourishing of metaphysics,it was more religious rumors and imagination;Tang,Song and Yuan dynasties were full of foreign-related activities.Tang people deliberately recorded imaginary stories as real events.Song and Yuan Dynasty also inherited this kind of documentary narrative, which made it particularly true.Ming dynasty's ocean-related novels broke the traditional monotonous mythological mode, and the fictional color and realistic record in the narrative becamea narrative way. This conscious fiction made Ming dynasty's ocean-related stories become a narrative way.Novels have distinctive features. The second part elaborates the overall achievements of the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction, and explores the reasons for the development of the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction. The Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction embodies its overall achievement in three aspects: quantity, content and artistic achievement,as well as its prosperous position in the history of ancient Chinese ocean-related fiction. There are three main reasons for the prosperity of ocean-related novels in Ming Dynasty. The change of Ming people's ocean concept in different social strata promoted Ming people's enthusiasm and infinite yearning for ocean exploration,Accordingly, overseas imagination and overseas activities develop accordingly; The improvement of the status of Commerce and businessmen, the widespread integration of scholars and businessmen, the interaction between scholars and businessmen in thought, moral mutual learning and aesthetic mutual feeling, can make business activities and businessmen the main content of the novel description;Under the influence of the Ming Dynasty's sea ban policy and tribute trade system, the overseas trade of Ming Dynasty's official and non-governmental developed vigorously and interacted in different periods, forming the general pattern of overseas trade in Ming Dynasty. The prosperity of different forms of overseas trade led to the development of other industries and the occurrence of various marine activities, which became the content of the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels. The third part studies the three aspects of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction from the perspectives of history and Philology of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction. The content of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction is very large and characterized in three aspects, namely, commercial trade, narrative of Japanese invaders and religious beliefs. In Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction, commercial trade can be divided into official and non-governmental overseas trade in terms of trade form, and it is manifested as Inland-Coastal and overseas trade in terms of geography. These two types of ocean-related fiction in Ming Dynasty have their own characteristics and interrelation, which together constitute the pattern of overseas trade in Ming Dynasty, and connect the ocean and inland, and promote the development of other industries. The commercial description in the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels reflects the overseas trade situation of the Ming Dynasty from different angles with great tension, and becomes a rather peculiar perspective to studythe commercial culture and overseas trade of the Ming Dynasty. The disaster of Japanese invaders in Ming Dynasty is closely related to the construction of coastal defense and the change of the policy of sea ban in Ming Dynasty.A large number of narratives of Japanese invaders appear in the mid and late Ming Dynasty. The narrative of Japanese aggressors in the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels corresponds to the change of the suffering of Japanese aggressors in the Ming Dynasty and the complexity of the composition of Japanese aggressors.A large number of Japanese aggressors' narratives in the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels have become the literature materials for later generations to study the marine policy and phenomenon of Japanese aggressors in the Ming Dynasty. The contents of Buddhism and Taoism in the Ming Dynasty have changed under the influence of the sea.The prosperity of overseas activities and the danger of going to sea led to the pious belief of sea gods in the future. Many images of sea gods of different religions appeared in Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels.Religious exchanges between China and foreign countries were more open in the Ming Dynasty. Many overseas religions appeared in Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels in China,as well as religious exchanges between Chinese people going to sea.The main content of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels is the real reflection of Ming Dynasty's social economy, politics, religion and other aspects. It is also the true portrayal of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels as regional literature to the social life of Ming Dynasty. The fourth part analyses the artistic characteristics of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels under the marine background. The ocean endowed the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related fiction with the characteristics different from any type of fiction in the Ming Dynasty. It pushed the ocean-related fiction to the peak of development and had great research value. The influence of ocean horizon on the art of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels is mainly manifested in the mystery of the story space, the openness of adventure in plot setting, and the broad tolerance of aesthetic implication. It is precisely these three artistic characteristics that distinguish the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novel from the non-ocean-related novel and reach the apex of the ocean-related novel in artistry. The study of the Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels has many meanings, among which the most important is to look at the social and cultural phenomena of the Ming Dynasty from different perspectives. The study of the noumenon of Ming Dynasty's ocean-related novels is also a peculiar and unique perspective for a deeperunderstanding of Ming Dynasty's social culture.
