As a typical example of continent civilization, the achievement of ocean culture of ancient China has often been neglected . Though not prominent, it also forms its own system and traits in fact. This article concerns with the ocean literature of ancient China ,which is a important part of ocean culture of ancient China, and mainly study the ocean-related novel during the QianLong and JiaQing period of Qing Dynasty (shortened as Qian-Jia period. Receachers seldom notice or study it even today.The article includes four chapters.Chapter one, The history of ocean-related novels of ancient China. From the Qin Dynasty ago to the beginning of Qing Dynasty, this chapter briefly retrospects the process from origin , germinate to fully development of ocean-related novels of ancient China, and briefly discusses the reason of its prosperity, the state and the type of ocean-related novel during the Qian-Jia period.Chapter two, The first typical work of ocean-related novels during the Qian-Jia period: "Dream of XiYi" : a struggle and successive history on foreign land, a dream to express mind. This chapter mainly discusses " Dream of XiYi" ,the typical work of " struggle type " of ocean-related novels during the Qian-Jia period, about its traits and achievement ,especially about its ocean-related life depiction, struggle- ideal hidden, and the skill of narration of dream.Chapter three, The second typical work of ocean-related noveld during the Qian-Jia period: "Love like flowers in mirror" : a record to theforeign journey ,satire in a fairytale. This chapter mainly discusses "Love like flowers in mirror" ,the typical work of "satire type" of ocean-related novels during the Qian-Jia period, about its traits and achievement, especially about its foreign country satire, ocean-related facts, and the rules of narration of journey.Chapter four, Other ocean-related novel during the Qian-Jia period. This chapter mainly discuss other ocean-related novel during the Qian-Jia period besides "Dream of XiYi" and "Love like flower in mirror" , especially discusses the extraordinary global view of "the dream of red mansion " and the factual descriptions about the coastal foreign merchandise of "record of mirage" .The part of conclusion summarizes the contributions that the ocean-related novels made to the classic Chinese novels.
