Based on the teaching of Chinese as a second language and the theory of compiling second language textbooks,this paper takes the Ulaanbaatar Institute of Language and Culture of Mongolia as an example to illustrate the existing problems in the use of Chinese textbooks,and tries to compile the new textbooks "New Practical Chinese Textbooks(Mongolian Counseling)1-2" and "Chinese Interest Textbooks".This paper introduces in detail the application of these two textbooks in the classroom,and analyses and evaluates them from the perspective of the principles of compiling Chinese textbooks,and puts forward some suggestions for the compilation of Mongolian Chinese textbooks in the future.The full text consists of five parts: introduction;Ulaanbaatar College of Language and Culture;the application of New Practical Chinese Textbooks(Mongolian Counseling)1-2 and Chinese Interest Textbooks;the analysis and evaluation of New Practical Chinese Textbooks(Mongolian Counseling)1-2 and Chinese Interest Textbooks;and the suggestions for the compilation of Mongolian native Chinese textbooks.In the preface,combining with the actual situation of the Chinese language course in Ulan Bator College of Language and Culture,the background and significance of this topic selection,research review and research methods are introduced.The part of Ulan Bator College of Language and Culture introduces the situation of Chinese major in Ulan Bator in detail,and analyses the current situation of teaching Chinese major from two angles of advantages and disadvantages.The application,analysis and evaluation of the two newly compiled textbooks elaborated the content,educational purpose and usage of the two textbooks in detail,and comprehensively analyzed the two textbooks from the perspective of five compiling principles of pertinence,practicability,scientificity,interest and systematicness,and elaborated their advantages and disadvantages in detail.Based on the analysis and evaluation of the above two textbooks,the author puts forward five suggestions on the compilation of native Chinese textbooks in Mongolia.This paper makes full use of the method of comprehensive practice,and puts forwardsome ideas and suggestions for the compilation of textbooks under the guidance of the results tested by classroom practice.This paper has strong practicality and pertinence,and has certain reference value and significance for the future study of the compilation of native Chinese textbooks in Ulan Bator Institute of Language and Culture and Mongolia.
