A Study Of The Compilation Of Chinese Business Textbooks And Suggestion For Compilation Of Country-based Textbooks

The “Belt and Road” initiative by China has strengthened the economic cooperation between China and other countries.Many business people have chosen to learn business Chinese in order to improve their business capacities and some students who are optimistic about China's economic situation have also begun to choose related courses,so the number of business Chinese learners has been greatly increased.To serve the learners from different countries and satisfy their different learning needs,the compilation of textbooks should also be different.Aiming at this problem,some scholars put forward suggestions on compiling country-specific Chinese textbooks.Business Chinese textbooks should also be country-specific and compiled for the requirements of the learners in different countries.This paper is mainly divided into five parts:The first part introduces the research background,purpose,significance,theories and methods of this paper and makes a literature review.The second part introduces the investigation of business Chinese.By analyzing the contents of the textbook contents,summarize the characteristics of the business Chinese textbooks in terms of topics,vocabulary,exercises and culture and simultaneously discuss the existing problems and the necessity of compiling country-specific business Chinese textbooks.The third part mainly puts forward the train of thought for compiling country-specific business Chinese textbooks.In terms of the topics,we should consider learners' actual needs;in terms of the vocabulary,we should choose the professional terminology with strong pertinence;in terms of exercises,we should use communicative practice;in terms of culture,we should connect and compare the business culture between two countries.The fourth part puts forward some problems that should be paid attention to when compiling country-specific business Chinese textbooks,discusses why the country-specific business Chinese textbooks need to focus on practicality,pertinence,communication and timeliness,and proposes some implementation methods.The fifth part puts forward four suggestions for compiling country-specific textbooks.
