This paper describes some of the problems of the Chinese teaching process in the Ulan Bator region, Mongolia, in recent years Ulan Bator region Chinese language teaching, Chinese teachers situation and provided textbook’s quality and more other aspects have had a significant progress, but still has had the presence of certain issues, such as the old teaching methods, but for learning a foreign language, especially Chinese, only classroom Chinese teaching is not enough, the language should be used in the life, in the practice speech, or should be used by teachers and students to exchange their experiences, such as Chinese language teaching will certainly be more effective. To solve the problem of the lack of teachers and textbooks is not an overnight thing, but to solve the "thousand miles, based on small steps," a little bit of accumulation, finally, Ulan Bator region shortage of teachers and teaching problem must be fundamentally resolved. This paper is based on the results of previous researches and practice, has made some comments and suggestions. By the example of the Ulan Bator National University, Ikh Zasag Foreign Languages and Culture University and Yu Cai Secondary School has analyzed the main problems and current situation of Chinese teaching in Ulan Bator, Mongolia region; the writer has researched teaching methods, courses and teaching textbooks and many other deficiencies of the today’s Ulan Bator region’s Chinese language teaching, and put forward some constructive proposals to take up the challenges to teaching Chinese in this territory.
