Study On The Characterization Of Historical And Cultural Documentary From The Perspective Of Cultural Identity

With the continuous improvement of China's comprehensive national strength and the increasing attention on traditional culture,the creation of historical and cultural documentaries has entered a period of rapid development,which has greatly improved the quality and dissemination effect.Especially after 2014,the historical and cultural documentaries broadcast by CCTV have been presented to the audience like mushrooms after rain under the joint promotion of "the policy of 30 minutes documentary" and "920 documentary program series",and successively appeared many high-quality works,such as Cloth of China,I Repaired Cultural Relics in the Forbidden City,Inheritance of Tradition,Materia Medica of China,If the National Treasure can Speak,Hexi Corridor and Heritage on Fingertips.These documentaries have gained good reputation for their elaborate production,advanced technology,popular narrative and vivid characteristics of the times.Moreover,the image narration of the spirit of the works is also closely related to the needs of cultural values,which shows the artistic characteristics of the current creators and highlights the rich cultural connotations.In a word,these innovative developments are closely related to the change of creator's ideas.Therefore,this paper takes the historical and cultural documentaries broadcast by CCTV as the main object of study,and tries to explore the relevant changes of their characterization in the perspective of "cultural identity",and then thinking and expecting.Specifically,the first part of the text proposes the basic theory and problem framework of the full text.Firstly,starting with the definition of the concept of historical and cultural documentaries,the research object and scope of this paper are confirmed through comparing the four groups of concepts of historical documentaries: humanistic documentaries,historical and humanistic documentaries,historical and cultural documentaries,and combing the current situation and development context of this type of documentaries in recent years.Secondly,the theory of "cultural identity" is sorted out to clarify the relationship between historical and cultural documentaries and cultural identity.Finally,exploring the characterization results of this type of documentaries through placing it in the perspective of "cultural identity".The second part of the text focuses on the interpretation of the historical and cultural documentaries broadcast by CCTV in recent years which includes its creative concept,cultural spirit and aesthetic implication in response to "what's characterization" produced by the works from the perspective of cultural identity.The third part of the text focuses on the reasons of the characterization of this type of documentaries,its attribution analysis mainly from the new historicism concept,multi-discourse co-creation and international dissemination of Chinese culture.At the end of this paper,we think and summarize extensively,mainly exploring what concepts and innovative strategies can be used in our historical and cultural documentaries in the context of new media in order to create more excellent works and improve the influence of Chinese culture on the international stage.
