Intentional forgetting plays an important role in the development of individual mind and body.Excessive emotional sadness may cause anxiety, depression and other psychological diseases. Therefore,it is particularly important to guide patients to forget the painful past experiences by using the suggestive characteristics of individual memory in clinical treatment. The existing researches on emotion and forgetting mainly adopt the way of external emotion induction. However, there is a relatively limited research on the use of internal induction. The simple way of inducing emotions externally can't fully reflect the emotions and those that are intentionally forgotten. In addition, two types of induced not only exist differences in induced intensity and ecological validity,as well as differences in the consumption of cognitive resources, therefore, the internal cause of emotional way may be on the relationship between the emotion and deliberately forgotten produce different effect. In order to explore the intentional forgetting effect under different emotional states(positive, negative and neutral). This study selected 120 college students as the subject group,Experiment 1 adopted a mixed experimental design of 3(emotional types: positive, neutral and negative)×2(group: memory group, forgetting group)×2(word list: L1,L2).In experiment 1,it was found that the intentional forgetting effect appeared under neutral conditions, while the intentional forgetting effect did not occur under emotional conditions(positive emotions, negative emotions). The extraction of emotional autobiographical memory is influenced by the personal perspective used in recall.Experiment 2 added personal perspective on the basis of experiment 1 This study selected 120 college students as the subject group and adopted a mixed experimental design of 2(emotional types: positive and negative)×2(group: memory group, forgetting group)×2(perspective: first-person perspective,third-person perspective)×2(word list: L1,L2)to explore the intentional forgetting effect of different emotional states under different perspectives.Experiment 2 found that in the positive emotional state, there was a deliberate forgetting effect from the first-person perspective.Third person perspective, the intentional forgetting effect disappears.Consistent results were also found in negative emotional states.Based on the above results, the relationship between internally induced emotional states and intentional forgetting is affected by personal perspective.Without considering the processing of personal perspective, there is no intentional forgetting effect in emotional state. With the addition of personal perspective, intentional forgetting effect appears in the first person perspective.
