A Study Of The Stylistics Of Chenwei During Han Dynasties

ChenWei is an important phenomenon in the development of ideology and culture in Han dynasties and played an important role in the Han Dynasties.Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu presided over the organization of the ChenWei text,and declared it in the first year of the Jianwu Zhongyuan(56).So ChenWei texts have a definite form.As the political and religious literature of the Eastern Han dynasty,the text and the stylistic features of ChenWei are practical.The contents of ChenWei are more about the appointment system of the emperor,so the royalty can maintain the legality of the rule by the Han Dynasty.For this purpose,the text of ChenWei formed some fixed discourse modes that the appointment of emperor was the ultimate purpose,the auspicious and sinister disaster were the main content,and the Confucius' s words were used to make the text of ChenWei more convincing.To some degree,these discourse modes inherit some thoughts and words from previous dynasty.And they are also related to the unique ideological background of the Han Dynasty.Because of the practical nature,the discourse modes is an important feature of ChenWei.As for the forms of ChenWei,the ChenWei's title usually has three characters,which were affected by the Taoist thought.ChenWei use not only the verse form but also the prosiness.So,ChenWei doesn't have a settled form.The lenth of sentences is not unified,and there are many verses in the text.These verses are mainly composed of three characters,four characters,and seven characters which like the poetry.The choice of the sentence pattern of the ChenWei text is not only affected by the imitation of the classical articals but also the influence of the popular poetry form of the Han Dynasty.What's more,the discourse modes of the auspicious and sinister disaster have a fixed structural feature.The contents of ChenWei advocate to describe some grandiose ideas,and try to encompass the universe.Actually,they can reflect the grand aesthetics which echo the deep meaning of Han Fu.At the same time,Han Fu borrowed the astronomical phenomena content of ChenWei to promote the grand style of Han Fu.The text of ChenWei retains the strange things that have been rejected by the Confucian tradition since the pre-Qin period.So,ChenWei is different from the Confucian tradition and shows the "odd" feature.The odd and auspicious contents of ChenWei were used to show off their brilliance by those authors of Han Fu,and they also used the image in ChenWei,which could make the expression of Han Fu more magnificent.
