As the foundation of second language teaching,phonetic teaching runs through Chinese teaching.Since "vowel superiority" is one of the characteristics of Chinese pronunciation,if students fully grasp Chinese vowels,they will benefit greatly in the study of Chinese pronunciation.Chinese first-level vowel,as the cornerstone of Chinese compound vowel,is a stepping stone for students to learn Chinese vowels.Therefore,the study for the actual situation of learning Chinese first-class vowels for foreign students has a big significance for the practice.Searching form the previous studies,the author found that there is no research on Chinese vowel teaching in Georgia.Therefore,based on vowel pattern theory,bias analysis theory,and comparative analysis theory,this paper uses experimental phonetics analysis methods and Praat voice analysis software to collect data in the Confucius classroom and the teaching school served by the author.Acoustics experiments were carried out on the first-level vowel acquisition of Chinese students at junior and intermediate Chinese level.The experiment was conducted through two aspects.On the one hand,analyzing the vowel development of students according to the level of Chinese language level.On the other hand,the author analyzes the mastery of Chinese first-level vowels by students of different ages with the same level of Chinese.The purpose of the experiment was to analyze the order and bias of the first-level vowel acquisition in different ages and stages in Georgian junior and intermediate Chinese students,and to observe the influence of the "critical period hypothesis" on the students' voice acquisition.At the same time,according to the results of the experiment,the reason for the formation of voice bias of students was analyzed,and then the teaching strategy was summarized and the teaching plan was designed to help students who came into contact with Chinese after the "critical period" to better acquire Chinesefirst-level vowels.The whole paper is divided into seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the significance of the topic selection and the theoretical basis of the experiment.In the second chapter,the author introduces the vowel pattern theory and the related theories of experimental phonetics in detail and sorts out the relevant content of the research status at the same time.In the third chapter,the author compares the first-level vowel system of Chinese and Georgian based on the acoustic experiment,and predicts the difficulties in acquiring the first-level vowel system of Chinese based on the theory of comparative analysis.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the vowel acquisition experiment,which systematically compares the acoustic performance of each group in the acquisition of Chinese first-level vowel and sorts out the experimental results.In the fifth chapter,the author analyzes the vowel produced by students' phonetic acquisition errors and puts forward teaching countermeasures.In the sixth chapter,the author carries on the teaching design according to the students' errors,and displays the teaching effect.Chapter seven is the conclusion,which summarizes the results of this experiment and puts forward the corresponding teaching countermeasures.At the same time,it also includes the areas that still need to be improved in this study.By using the analysis method of vowel pattern theory and experimental phonetics,this paper analyzes and summarizes the students' acquisition of Chinese first-level vowel based on the comparison between Chinese and Georgian first-level vowel system.It is hoped that this study can serve as a starting point and fill the gap in the study of case Chinese phonetics teaching.
