Experimental Phonetics Research On Long Vowel Length And "Shorted Vowel Length" Phenomenon In Mongolian

In this paper,based on experimental phonetics acoustic analysis of seven mongolian vernaculer language including Erdos vernaculer,Alxa vernaculer,Khorchin vernaculer,Khoknvvr vernaculer,Torghut vernaculer,ShinBarag vernaculer,Barin vernaculer,analysis and comparisons on the length of long vowel so as to explore the "shortened vowel length"phenomenon.This thesis is composed of introduction,the first chapter,the second chapter,the third chapter,the summary and references.The introduction part mainly introduces the former researches,the purpose of this title,research significance and research methods.The first chapter analyzes the length of long vowels of Mongolian from the perspective of first syllable and non-first syllable.The second chapter,analyze the changes of Mongolian long vowels from the perspective of open syllable,closed syllables,consonant environment and types of vowel,explore the factors of influence the length of vowel.In the third chapter,the author puts forward his own views on the "shortened long vowel" phenomenon in Mongolian,based on the previous research results and the experimental data and the views proposed by former scholars on this phenomenon.
