This thesis aims to make an analysis of the interpretation of Li Keqiang’s speeches at press conferences for “Two Sessions” from 2016 to 2018 and uses the Eco-Translatology to explain the process of interpreting. This thesis intends to analyze the interpreting methods and techniques the interpreter adopted in the process of interpreting from “adaptation and selection”,“multi-dimensional adaptation and selection transformations” and “‘making up’ for lacking elements in the target eco-environment”.Adopting interpreting methods and techniques could help the interpreter adapt to the eco-environment of the target language in order to reach ecological balance.“Adaptation and selection” is explained from textual transplants and eco-balance including the lexical, syntactical and rhetorical aspects;“multi-dimensional adaptation and selection transformations” is achieved from linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimension and “‘making up’ for lacking elements in the target eco-environment” is analyzed from explanation and supplementation.Through analyzing the corpus,it is found that Eco-Translatology conforms to the concrete operation of consecutive interpreting and it can be applied to the process of interpretation as interpreting methods. This thesis takes the specific corpus as examples and proposes interpreting methods and techniques which have certain practical value.
