With the more frequent exchanges and contacts between China and the world, the mutual influence between China and other countries is becoming more and more obvious.Cultural, ideological and artistic exchanges have created new sparks,as well as new problems.20th Century Aesthetics:Towards a Theory of Feeling examines the encounter between contemporary Continental Philosophy and aesthetic and cultural theory.Under the guidance of Professor Hu Gengshen's Eco-translatology,this paper is the report on the translation practice of Chapter 6 of the 20th Century Aesthetics, which analyzes the translation problems encountered in the process of translation, and tries to use various translation methods and strategies to achieve accurate translation of the text. From the perspectives of linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension, the author uses“translator centeredness”and“adaptation/selection”to complete the translation of the text smoothly. The process of writing the translation report is not only a process of combining translation theory with practice, but also a process of self-cultivation.In this process, the author's translation theory level has been improved, and the use of translation techniques and methods has become more sophisticated.
