A Study Of Interpreting Strategies From The Perspective Of Three-dimensional Transformations Of Eco-translatology ——Based On The Keynote Speeches At The Four China International Import Expos

China International Import Expo,referred to as “CIIE” for short,is the world’s first national-level exhibition with the theme of import,providing a public platform for countries to carry out international trade.For four consecutive years,President Xi Jinping delivers keynote speeches at the opening ceremonies of the four CIIES on the positive progress of China’s series of measures to expand opening-up and the subsequent measures for China’s steadfastly expanding of all-round opening-up.What is more,simultaneous interpretation of keynote speeches has become an important channel for the international community to understand China’s foreign trade policies and an open position.Therefore,the importance of the target language’s quality is self-evident and it is necessary to explore and study interpreting strategies of keynote speech.Based on the wide application of Eco-translatology in translatology,this thesis selects the simultaneous interpretation of the keynote speeches at the four CIIES as an example to study interpreting strategies from the perspective of adaptive transformations in terms of the linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions,and discusses the feasibility of applying three-dimensional transformations of Eco-translatology to interpretation.Through the analysis,such interpreting techniques or methods as the change of the voices,omission,literal translation,free translation,amplification,and dividing can be adopted to illustrate that three-dimensional transformations of Ecotranslatology can guide the keynote speech interpretation.Through this study,the author hopes to help people better understand the translation strategies of keynote speech interpretation.
