Studies On The Learning Of Lama In The Lama Temple Yong-he-gong During The Reign Of Emperor Qian-Long

As an important learning and self-cultivation activity of lama after the transformation of Yong-He-Gong into a Buddhist monastery,the learning of lama is a significant research topic of Buddhist history during the reign of Qian-Long.This paper takes the learning of lama in the Lama Temple Yong-He-Gong at this time as the research object.It makes use of many kinds of materials,mainly such as “the Archives of the Lama Temple Yong-He-Gong of the Qing Dynasty”(24 volumes)and “the Translations of the Manchu Archives on Yong-He-Gong”(two volumes),to systematically tease out,sort out and analyze the historical evolution of Yong-He-Gong,the various aspects of Lama's learning in the Lama Temple Yong-He-Gong,as well as its reasons and historical significance.Therefore,this study has certain academic significance to the expansion of the research field of modern Chinese history and the discipline development.The preface of this paper illustrates the significance of the selected topic,relevant research status and innovation points.The text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the past and present life of Yong-He-Gong.Tracing back to the its history,analyzing and exploring the strategy and reasons that the Emperor Qian-Long decided to change the palace into a temple,thus leading to the theme of Lama's learning in the Lama Temple Yong-He-Gong among political and religious activities after the temple reformed.The second chapter is about the various aspects of the learning of lama in the Yong-He-Gong during the reign of emperor Qian-Long.Mainly based on archives,this paper presents a variety of appearances,including emperor's decrees on the learning of lama.Thethird chapter is about the reasons and historical significance of Lama's learning.In addition,the epilogue summarizes the main content of this paper.In the last part,it annexes references and the plaque of Yong-He-Gong in four kinds of languages and so on.
