The Study Of Aesthetic Ideology On Seal Cutting Art Of Qi Baishi

This article give a research about Qi Baishi's Seal-cutting art,which should be done in the spirit level,called verve,instead of the skill standard and the specific things.In the part of first introduction,we discuss the research's background,content,methods and meaning.Aesthetic thought,as the name implies,is an abstraction about the understanding of beauty and a strong generation of art,which has an outstanding function of evaluating and understanding the aesthetic,but also show the personal feelings and social contemporary feelings.It also has an obvious character of nationality of China.The second chapter discusses the effects of the background of Qi Baishi's aesthetics,especially the effects of traditional culture and diligence.Chapter 3 explores his artistic features,the technique of the cutting blade and his unique effects,which shows strong emotions.The forth chapter investigates the influence of Qi Baishi's seal cutting art on seal carving of world by explaininng philosophy and aesthetics,which evaluate Qi Baishi's seal carving and his spirits in a new perspective and different angles.The last chapter is the conclusion of this article,which shows that it is our responsibility to develop the culture of seal carving.According to this study,we can have a better understanding in the methods about Qi Baishi's seal carving,and it is important for us to understand Qi Baishi's work to study all his life.Chinese traditional seal carving is shown by seal cutting,which needs good basic ability in painting and calligraphy.Although coping is important,the innovation is more important for us.The first mission we must get is keeping our seal carving independent.Artistic thought and art system of Qi Baishi's carving are embodied by specific seal cutting,which can deepen Qi Baishi's art research.And it help us look at the aesthetic significance of carving in whole.
