The research on specific art groups in specific times is one of the important basic research methods for art history.In the early 20 th century,China and even the world were in the midst of unprecedented changes.The deconstruction of traditional society has led to drastic changes in many fields.As a sensitive point of social change,the cultural and artistic development driven by the awakening of female consciousness in this period was particularly active.However,due to various reasons,the long-term research on female art in this period is not sufficient,and the achievements of female art are not recognized as they should be.In this thesis,through discusses the development and evolution of the western feminist thoughts and male agricultural society to the female status in China in the industrialization and modernization gradually awakening,independent shift this important context,to Pan Yu-liang case as the key,and then led to show artistic creation at the beginning of the 20 th century Chinese women feature continuously developing process.The artistic styles of Chinese female painters in the early 20 th century and the excellent representative works in different periods are analyzed and displayed comprehensively from different levels.Through the in-depth analysis and research of the female painters’ groups at that time and Pan Yu-liang’s artistic life and achievements,it fully affirms the achievements made by Chinese female painters in artistic pursuit and artistic creation in the early 20 th century.In addition,in this thesis,also focuses on the exploration and research of the female artists and the uniqueness of their works in this period.To female consciousness as a starting point,through the history of the longitudinal comparison,as well as for individual case analysis Pan Yu-liang,from different angles to compare and study the beginning of the 20 th century female artists,proves the existence of Chinese female art value,and women who used art achieve spiritual emancipation of practical significance. |
