In the early 20 th century,the western society into entered the modern society.Due to the continuous improvement of economic and social status,women tried to get rid of the limited role in the traditional society dominated by the patriarchy.As a result,the feminist trend of thought rose around the world,and its influence gradually penetrated into the field of art,becoming a global art trend.With the awakening of female consciousness,female artist groups of different countries and nationalities began to get rid of the narrow positioning of female visual images consciously in their painting traditions and yearned for equal discourse power with men.Her works express the unique individual experience and emotional experience of women and provide a new opportunity for the development of the 20 th century painting art.This article takes the painting art of Frida Kahlo and Pan Yuliang,two female painters in Mexico and modern China who were both under the influence of Western colonialism and faced with violent social unrest and change,as the research object.Through the collection and collation of her representative works,works,interviews,letters and other relevant materials,from the perspective of female intervention,this article analyzes the female consciousness contained in the subject selection,formal language,schema structure and other aspects of her paintings.Thus,it explores how the two artists transform the female image from the object to the subject to be watched,and how they transform the concept expression from pleasure to highlight the female consciousness.Then it expounds how women's unique aesthetic perspective and self-consciousness complete the process of visual construction in the painting works of two female artists,as well as the similarities and differences shown in this process,and discusses the value and significance of this visual construction for the development of modern Female painting.
