The Truth Of War In Tatsuz? Ishikawa's Writing

March 1938,there were published “Living soldier” and “Central Public Opinion”(March 1938)by Tatsuzo Ishikawa,they caused a stir in Japanese society,which because of it describes the real state of war and revealed many crimes committed by the Japanese army in China,such as the killing,looting,arson,rape,etc.During the World War II,this works that stated the truth of the war was banned from distribution under the Japanese government has imposing strict controls on speech,but also Tatsuzo Ishikawa and the editors and other staffs of the magazine had been punished for Violation of the “Newspaper Law”,thus“ Living soldier” became a only war literature that tells the truth about the war in japanese literature world during World War II,It has qualities not found in contemporary works.However,there is a lack of research on this unique "truth" in existing pilot studies,the work that real accounts of the war,and real psychological description of the characters,which reflects existing some deficiencies in the investigation of the "real" aspect of the work,this paper will cariy out investigation based on three questions,such as the reason for Tatsuzo Ishikawa decided to description of the truth of war,work contents,and coincidence of historical facts as well as human nature analysis of the characters in the work.In the first chapter,the research questions,research methods and research significance will be explained in detail,while summarize and conclude the previous research,and point out their shortcomings.In the second chapter,it will investigation on Tatsuzo Ishikawa and him works“ Living soldier”,and mainly expounds the writer Tatsuzo Ishikawa's basic style,which are concerned about social issues,regard social topics as the theme of creation,write a novel like a journalist through the field investigation and collect materials.after then,the paper will tracing the creation process of the work,explore the author's intention to convey the truth of the war,finally,sort out the process of being banned from issuing as well as collect historical records related to the court trial of Tatsuzo Ishikawa to analyze the truth of the writing incident.In the third chapter,combination with many historical materials such as “Historical War Books”,“Nanjing War History Data Set” as well as News Reports at the time and Japanese soldiers diary,it enumerate the contents of“ Living soldier”that conform to the history,and demonstrate what actually happened in the prototype of the troops,the route of the march and the troops in the work,the reflection to the Nanjing aggression war have the part which coincident with the history,so this paper discusses that the work contain certain historical value.In the four chapter,it analyze the soldiers image written by Tatsuzo Ishikawa,and examine their humanity,the human nature of the soldiers were distorted and destroyed,and gradually turned into the same brutal characters,which became the killing tool the army needed in the brutal environment of war,the conclusion is that this change in human nature is the actual experience of soldiers comprehended by Tatsuzo Ishikawa.In the conclusion,there are oriented to three questions that raised initially: the reason for Tatsuzo Ishikawa decided to description of the truth of war,work content s,and coincidence of historical facts as well as human nature analysis of the characters in the work,it will sort out the answers and give the results of the argument,and stated the work is still of great historical value in the present stage,the work provides a literary way to understand the war of aggression against China in 70 years ago.
