Research On The Application Of "Line" Element In Modern And Contemporary Sculpture

This paper focuses on the study of line-based modeling language in artists' works.In today's plastic arts,sculpture works exist in a variety of forms.Sculpture art,as an art field that attaches importance to space and weight,the element of "line" can not only make more effective use of space,but also be used as a stylistic language for the expression of works.The concept of "line" refers abstractly to a line in two-dimensional form.If in the past,that is,before the 20 th century,the element of "line" played an auxiliary role in artistic creation,then today,with the development of science and technology,with the diversification of artistic expression,the work of "line" in modern and contemporary art It is widely used in the field of sculpture art.In order to understand the artistic application of the element of "line" in sculpture art,this paper first summarizes the midline element of modern art rising in the 20 th century as a creative medium.And how to carry on the positioning line as the creative medium has what kind of form and the modeling language and so on the content carries on the research.And take the concrete art work as the case to carry on the analysis.On the basis of cubism works in modern art,this paper observes and analyzes the application of line elements in the field of modern and contemporary art sculpture,and then makes a comparative analysis of the works with different forms of expression.Furthermore,the line,a styling language,is studied.The artists who express all kinds of emotions with "line" elements,the artists who express "line" elements in space,and the artists who use various materials to express "line" elements are discussed and studied respectively.And analyze the elements of "line" in the series of works.The purpose of this study is to explore the elements and modeling language of the midline of sculpture works,and to study the structure and structure of the various elements of the line,that is,to study the creation of works through the "line" elements,hoping to provide a research basis for the development of sculpture.
