Oral English is an important part of English teaching,no matter for students to learn English knowledge or form comprehensive language ability,oral ability training is very important.However,in our traditional class,there are still many problems in oral English teaching.For example,the limited time in our class can not carry out so much oral training,student also feel uninterested in oral English,students' limited ways to practice oral English and so on,which reduces the efficiency and effectiveness of oral English teaching.Effective measures should be taken to overcome the above problems and improve students' oral English.Education is a kind of APP along with the development of information technology and the emergence of new learning tool,the tool according to the needs of the learners and also for learners to learn more about rich Internet information and resources,at the same time education APP has convenient installation,strong practicability,the advantages of the various forms,vivid and interesting,in the field of education in colleges and universities has been widely used.In this study,education APP is applied to the teaching of oral English in primary schools.In this way,classroom teaching and after-class learning are combined to improve the current situation of oral English teaching in primary schools and improve the students' oral English ability.In this study,the equal group experiment method was adopted.One class was selected as the experimental class,and the spoken English teaching plan using education APP was implemented.The other class was selected as the control class,and the traditional spoken English teaching plan was adopted.Based on the above research objectives and education method,this paper carried out the following work:1.Carding of core concepts and related theories.First,I define the concept of oral English ability,sorts out the main content of oral English ability,and takes the performance evaluation reference standard of oral English activity in the compulsory education English curriculum standard as the evaluation standard of oral English ability adopted in this study.Second,the source,concept,related theory and application mode of education APP were sorted out,which laid a theoretical foundation for the design of learning scheme to improve the students' oral English ability by using education APP.2.A Survey of Oral EnglishBy means of questionnaires and oral English proficiency tests,this paper studies the oral English learning situation of the experimental and control classes as well as the actual oral English ability of the students.Through statistics and analysis of the data,it is found that the oral English foundation of primary school students is weak and the oral English ability is poor,which provides the necessary basis and reference for the design of the educational APP program.3.Formulation of research programsAccording to the data analysis results and characteristics of education APP,combined with the learning characteristics of primary school students,the implementation plan of using education APP to improve primary school students' oral English ability was developed.The program divides the process of oral English teaching into classroom teaching and after-class learning.After-class learning increases the time for children to learn oral English,enriches the learning content of students,and is more personalized for students.Classroom teaching still gives full play to the leading role of teachers in teaching.Teachers can test the results of students' after-class exercises in class and give guidance to students in the process of learning oral English after class.The two parts complement each other,complement and promote each other,and jointly promote the process of oral English teaching.4.ExperimentsA two-month oral English teaching activity was carried out in the selected experimental class to improve the oral English ability of primary school students by using education APP.During the implementation of the program,the program was adjusted in time according to the feedback from the students to ensure the smooth progress of the research.The comparison class adopts the traditional classroom oral English teaching method to carry on the synchronous oral English teaching.5.Research conclusionsAfter a two-month experimental study,the students were tested again on oral English.The results show that the students' oral English level has been improved.The strategies to improve oral English ability are summarized as follows: strategies to improve oral English skills and strategies to improve oral English learning methods.The strategies to improve the way of oral English learning are as follows: using educational APP to make students practice after class to alleviate their anxiety;adding picture book reading and interesting dubbing to improve the way of language input to increase interesting;arranging oral assignments on educational APP to increase students' output practice.The strategies to improve oral English skills are: vocabulary memorization and consolidation of students' vocabulary pronunciation;reading and reciting texts familiar with sentence patterns and the use of different situations;picture book reading to cultivate students' narrative ability;interesting dubbing to train students' ability of describing things and telling stories.Students use APP to practice oral English,enhance the initiative of oral practice,enrich the content of oral learning,increase the time of oral practice,expand the methods of oral practice,after the implementation of the program,students' oral ability has been significantly improved.The research of this paper shows that the implementation of the program of learning oral English by using education APP has indeed improved the disadvantages of traditional oral English teaching in class and greatly improved the teaching effect of oral English.
