Textbook drama teaching is a teaching method with drama characteristics for the purpose of education.Through the use of textbooks as the main teaching resources in the teaching,the integration of drama elements such as "creating situations","drama games","role playing",etc.It is possible to create a guided,interactive,and experiential learning environment for students in the classroom.Cultivate students' imagination,expression and creativity,improve students' enthusiasm for learning,and strengthen teachers' classroom teaching effect.Primary school English teaching in China has always attached importance to grammar and vocabulary knowledge,but it has neglected the cultivation of students' interest in English learning and practical language use.This has led to many primary school students' interest in English learning is not high,and the comprehensive development of the ability to use the language of listening,speaking,reading and writing is uneven.Especially in speaking ability,it is particularly weak.In order to change the single teaching mode in which teachers speak and students listen in the classroom,arouse the enthusiasm of pupils to learn English,and provide an environment and opportunities for pupils to output language,some educators have begun to try to integrate drama elements into English classroom teaching activities.In this process,some results have also been achieved,and the application of textbook plays has effectively improved the students' oral ability.Under this background,this article studies the strategies of textbook dramas to improve pupils' oral ability.Using literaturedata method,classroom observation method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,case analysis method and other methods to carry out research,investigate and analyze the situation of the textbook drama courses in the T elementary school of C city,and investigate and evaluate its textbook drama courses to improve the oral ability of primary school students In terms of the effects and deficiencies,then put forward strategies for improving the oral ability of primary school students in English textbook drama courses.The research content of this article is mainly divided into the following parts:Chapter 1 is the concept part,which elaborates the concepts of textbook play and oral English ability,and analyzes the feasibility of the textbook play to improve pupils' oral English ability.Chapter 2 is the theoretical basic part.It analyzes the theoretical basis of improving the oral English ability of primary schools from the perspective of the three theoretical concepts of constructivism theory,communicative teaching method theory and second language acquisition theory.Chapter 3 analyzes the organizational model of primary school English textbook drama courses.First,it describes the implementation principles of textbook dramas to improve pupils' oral English ability and the classification of textbook dramas to improve pupils' oral English ability,and then the implementation of textbook dramas to improve pupils' oral English ability The path was analyzed.Chapter 4 puts forward the implementation plan of the textbook drama to improve the pupils' oral English ability.Combining with the development of T elementary school English textbook dramas,the strategy of textbook dramas to develop primary school oral ability is put forward.The implementation goals,program design,and implementation process of the textbook play are proposed,and the implementation effectiveness and problems are analyzed through classroom observations and interviews.Chapter 5 proposes strategies for improving primary school students 'oral English ability from textbook dramas,from the optimization of the content of textbook dramas,the transformation of teachers' teaching concepts,the optimization of the implementation of textbook dramas,the rich content of scenarios,the active classroom atmosphere,and the establishment of a variety of oral language ability evaluation models.Various aspects put forward corresponding specific measures to promote the development of primary school English textbook drama courses to better cultivatestudents' oral ability.
