Saint-Saens Introduction And Rondo Capriccioso Performance Analysis

The title music “Introduction and Rondo capriccioso”,created in 1863,is one of the few violin works by Saint-Saens,dedicated to the Spanish violinist Sarasate at the time.This work not only incorporates the romantic and classical structure of French folk music,but also gives full play to the rich artistic expression and brilliance of the violin.It has played a vital role in the development of the violin until today.Therefore,this thesis takes“Introduction and Rondo capriccioso” as the research object,based on the existing literature and audio-visual materials,and conducts a comprehensive analysis of this work in three parts,making people’s works on Saint-Saens and his works.Have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding.The first part takes Saint-Saens background and stage of creation as the starting point of the discussion,and analyzes and summarizes the stage and style of music.The second part summarizes the unique and novel creative methods of the composer by analyzing the structure of the works.The third part adds his own personal learning experience from the perspective of performance,hoping to help the player to have a better understanding of skills and feelings,and use the scientific method of play to fully interpret this work.
