Yuan Dynasty Guangji Temple Main Hall Painted Plastic Exploration

Guangji temple,located in wutai county,Shanxi Province,was originally built in the yuan dynasty.As a national key cultural relic protection unit,the painted sculptures in the temple belong to the buddhist statue art of the yuan dynasty,which has a relatively small amount of existence.Wide dhi sanshi temple of Ursa major is mountain style,the whole building with only two pillars supporting the huge halls,the inside of the statue is various,such as Buddha,bodhisattva,transformers,etc.,around two sets each have kirin,lions,elephants and other mounts,the direction of the center of buddhist altar is in the form of a Buddha two bodhisattvas,sectoral back wall of the sculpture has three big mount beast,18 arhats,these are the classic masterpiece painted sculpture art in the yuan dynasty.In this paper,in the context of the integration of multi-ethnic cultures in the yuan dynasty,the main research object is the painted sculpture of the main hall of the guangji temple.The basic history of China's painted sculpture art is combed,and the main works in various periods are analyzed to discuss the formation of the painted sculpture art of the main hall of the guangji temple andits artistic characteristics.The paper consists of three parts: introduction,four chapters of the text and the final conclusion.The first chapter mainly analyzes the research object,research significance,research status,research content and research methods.The second chapter firstly briefly introduces the history and development of colored plastic sculpture in China,analyzes the characteristics of colored plastic sculpture art in each period,and summarizes the characteristics and values of colored plastic sculpture art in each period.Secondly,the background,architecture and painted sculpture of the main hall of guangji temple are summarized,highlighting the existence value and research significance of guangji temple.As a rare object in yuan dynasty,the great hall of guangji temple is of great importance to its research.The third chapter mainly analyzes the techniques and modeling features of the painted sculptures in guangji temple,and summarizes the artistic features of the painted sculptures in guangji temple.Chapter four makes a detailed analysis of its historical background and causes.The unique artistic language of the painted sculpture in guangji temple is excavated,and its unique charm in the painted sculpture art is further studied.The painted sculpture of guangji temple is vivid and shows the characteristic of secularization.Chapter five analyzes and summarizes the cases of colored plastic art in different periods of China and expounds the development process of colored plastic art in different stages.Through sorting out and comparing the painted sculptures in China,it proves that the painted sculptures of the main hallof guangji temple are unique in the whole ancient Chinese sculpture art world,which reflects the value of the painted sculptures of the main hall of guangji temple.The conclusion is a summary of the painted sculpture value of the main hall of the guangji temple and the prospect of the study of the guangji temple,striving to make the guangji temple get better protection and attention.
