Research On The Hui Ideology Of Lanzhou Under The Background Of Sinicization Of Religion

At the national conference on religious work,general secretary Xi Jinping clearly put forward that we must actively guide religions to adapt to socialist society and adhere to the orientation of sinicization.Based on the historical development of Islam and Chinese socialist society,this paper tries to use the theory of cultural consciousness and the theory of social and cultural change to study the ideology of the Hui people.Islam has started its sinicization process since it was introduced into China.Only by continuing to adhere to the sinicization direction can it continue to develop and adapt to the society and serve the society.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part mainly describes the domestic scholars' research on the sinicization of Islam and the research theories and methods.The second part mainly sorts out the specific situation of Islam's introduction into China and its adaptation to the traditional Chinese society,and narrates the development of Islam in China from the Tang and Song dynasties,the Yuan dynasty and the Ming and Qing dynasties.The third part is the introduction of the religious theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics and China's religious freedom policy.The fourth part is the introduction of the field,mainly choose Lanzhou Xiguan mosque and Dongchuan gongbei as the main research sites.The fifth part is the key part of the thesis.Based on the field investigation of two mosques,it discusses the views and understandings of religious belief of professional imams and believers as well as the concept changes in the life of hui people.Social changes play a decisive role in the influence of Hui people's ideas and concepts.It is necessary for Chinese Islam to adapt itself to the social development in the new era.Adhering to the leadership of the party and the state and continuing the path of sinicization are the long-term paths for the development of Islam in China.
