This paper,which is based on a one-year sound recording materials of the conversations between the author and a Korean student J in Chinese,is aimed at describing and studying the Chinese acquisition development of the Korean student J by analyzing the accuracy and complexity of his Chinese vocabulary and syntax. The main results are as follows:1.The varies of the ten main indexes of the accuracy and complexity of both the vocabulary and the syntax shows a feature of dynamic,unpredictably and nonlinear.2.The general accuracy of J's vocabulary has improved slightly, though its internal index has a different development trends.The decline in frequency of the oral com-munication doesn't directly contribute to the accuracy of vocabulary.3.The accuracy of the syntax is far below the accuracy of the vocabulary;The accuracy of the syntax improves in the alternation between stagnancy and fluctuation,with no apparent progress or regression;Component omitted error constitutes a largest proportion of all the errors;The accuracy of the syntax changed obviously around J's one year's learning of Chinese and entered to a relative stable phase.4.The abundance of T's vocabulary generally decreased during the observation,and abundan-ce of the vocabulary of the correct T-units decreased even more.5.The sentence length doesn't grow remarkably as the learning time increases, while the complexity of the syntax has increased in general.The average sentence length of all T-units is generally longer than that of the correct T-units, but the distinction is not very obvious. As in some specific materials,the average sentence length of the correct T-units is longer instead.6.Personal factors of J's,such as age,learning motivation, personality, learning method,communicative strategies of the Chinese,are influence her development of oral Chinese in great degree,and the negative transfer of native language of J's are influence her error types.This study is based on the natural and daily conversation between the author and the Korean student, so it's very communicative. Because of the long time span of tracking and the combination between the analysis of various indexes and the observation to her daily life, this paper embodies the more authentic situation of her Chinese acquisition development,and it provides reference to the Chinese teaching For Korean students at an elementary level.
