The Research On The Exegesis Of Gui Fu's Zha Pu

The Zha Pu wrote by Gui Fu is the classic work about dialectical academic notes in the Qing Dynasty.The exegetical materials involved in Zha Pu are very rich and the exegetical contents are also encyclopedical.And it also has contributed a lot to identifing the phonetic loan characters,textual research and annotation.Thus,it has obtained the attention and emphasis of the scholars at that time and in later ages.However,there are still many achievements in Zha Pu which have not been valued by the academic circles,which is obviously not matched with the true academic value.In addition,from the current academic perspective,some exegetical entries still need to be discussed.Therefore,the discussion of the exegetical achievements,characteristics and shortcomings of Gui Fu's Zha Pu is imperative and meaningful.On the basis of the fully understanding the exegetical contents and methods in Zha Pu,this paper selects and extracts the most valuable exegetical materials from Zha Pu and makes a detailed and in-depth study of the achievements,characteristics and shortcomings of Zha Pu's exegesis.The introduction part mainly introduces the history of the development of academic notes and the value of the exegesis of examination of the dialectical academic notes.It summarizes the history and present situation of the study of Gui Fu and Zha Pu.It also verifies the evolution of the version of Zha Pu and confirms the editions of this study.The first two chapters mainly analyze and generalize the exegetical achievements and characteristics in Zha Pu.The first chapter focuses on analyzing the achievements of Zha Pu's exegesis from identifing the phonetic loan characters,correcting glyph errors and correcting paraphrase error.The exegesis characteristics of the second chapter include the following three aspects.The first is citing a large number of examples and the dialectical process is precise and detailed.The second is using the methods of present evidence to retain a large number of dialects materials.The third is emphasis is placed on epigraphy,using double data to demonstrate each other.The last two chapters mainly analyze the lack of exegesis in Zha Pu.The third chapter focuses on the insufficiency of the research of the Chinese characters in Zha Pu,including making mistakes in looking for the original characters,reversing the relationship between the phonetic loan characters and original characters,the mistake of the ancient and modern relationship as the relationship between the phonetic loan characters and original characters,and the relationship between the phonetic loan characters and original characters as abbreviated characters.The fourth chapter summarizes the deficiencies of the lexical meaning explanation in Zha Pu from the perspective of error causes.It includes the mistakes due to incompatible context and mistakes due to material problem,misunderstanding of ancient notes,two exegeses for one word,polysyllabic words of misunderstanding and transfer of exegeses.
