The Political Appraisal And Gender Writing In Women's History Poems In The Qing Dynasty

There are more than 3,000 epic poems written by women in the Qing dynasty.Not only do they outnumber those composed in previous dynasties,but they also have impressive quality.After sorting out the definition of epic poem,this thesis intends to grasp the view of women in the Qing Dynasty and their views on chastity and water disasters from two perspectives of politics and gender,and to explore three issues:the analysis of Wang Duan's imagination and narrative of the Yuan and Ming Dynasties,the devaluation of the Qing Dynasty women on the Xi Shi,the Qing Dynasty women's diversified comments on the image of Yang Guifei.In Wang Duan's opinion,compared to Ming and Yuan dynasties,Zhang Wu's regime is more consistent with her view of talented people.The ideal monarch-officer relationship should be that the upper-level love talent,while the personal character's dissoluteness is unimportant.Improper behavior is not worthy of denunciation.As a courtier,the embodiment of loyalty is not only his rejection to serve another Lord but also his commitment to administrative affairs on a regular basis.Behind Wang Duan's view of talent,there is an implicit appeal for the love of the talent.Xishi bears the mission of "beauty plot" and because of her strong political color thus women's evaluation of her chastity is more serious.They are reluctant to admit or approve of Fan Xi's actions,and are reluctant to emphasize the love factor in their relationship.Female poets adheres to the reputation and takes it as a measure of self-respect in order to resist male's stigmatization of their personal reputation.In the official history,Yang Guifei was regarded as the "root of misfortune."After the reshaping of "The Everlasting Regret" and "Longevity Palace",Yang Guifei's political character has been weakened,and she has become more of an image of infatuation.When writing this complicated historical figure,women in the Qing Dynasty were influenced by historical records and literature reshaping.The evaluation of Yang Guifei has a variety of trends.There are three main trends:water that brings misfortune,abandoned woman,and female hero.Comments full of sympathy and pity on her fate remain the mainstream.
