Language is the carrier of culture and culture is the connotation of language.Broad and profound Chinese culture has been recorded and disseminated through Chinese language,and Chinese itself has also become part of Chinese culture.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is not only a language teaching but also a kind of cultural teaching.Teaching Chinese knowledge and spreading Chinese culture both have you in me and I have you.Chinese learners learn the process of Chinese,but also the process of learning Chinese culture.It is not enough to grasp the basic elements of language alone.Only by understanding the cultural background behind the target language system can Chinese learners use Chinese to communicate cross-culturally.At present,the study of cultural teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has matured in terms of content,methods,principles,and teaching materials.However,there are more studies on cultural teaching in language classes and less research on specialized cultural classes.There are many researches on cultural teaching,and there are few researches on the teaching of foreign Chinese culture abroad.Based on this research status,the author combines the cultural teaching practice of Dongzhi Donghua Middle School in the Confucius Classroom in Fuqing,Myanmar.First of all,it sorted out the existing research results in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and introduced the author's research ideas and methods.Then,Introduce the theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,clarify the relationship between culture and language,and focus on the content,methods,and principles of cultural teaching;in addition,introduce the author's cultural teaching practice in Donghua Middle School in the form of cases,including specialized professors.Cultural knowledge and supplementing cultural knowledge in language classes,exploring how cultural teaching should be carried out in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,which cultural teaching methods can be used,and what kind of cultural teaching principles should be followed;finally,the author makes statistics on the effects of cultural teaching practice.Analyze and summarize the problems faced and provide corresponding solutions.The author hopes that through the introduction of cultural teaching practice,it will be able to provide the Myanmar Chinese languageteaching workers with information about the true situation and lessons of the Chinese language teaching culture in Burmese and will use their own strength in the education of Chinese as a foreign language.
