| In recent years,with the deepening of exchanges between China and Thailand,the demand for Chinese language talent in Thailand has continued to increase,and Thai language teaching in Thailand has developed rapidly.In order to meet the needs of Thai language teaching in Thailand,more and more Chinese language teachers are going to teach in Thailand,promoting the development of Thai language teaching in Thailand and cultural exchanges between the two countries.However,when Chinese teachers face the cultural environment in Thailand,they often find it difficult to adapt to the conditions and influence the Chinese teachers’ work and life in Chinese teaching in Thailand.In order to study the cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese teachers in Thai and found that Chinese teachers are facing major adaptation problems in Thailand,the author used the short-term Chinese teachers of Yunnan University as a sample to investigate the Chinese teachers in Thailand through questionnaires and interviews.Cross-cultural adaptation.It mainly investigates the adaptation of Chinese teachers to Thailand’s social environment,the state of communication during Thailand and the psychological conditions during Thailand.In the investigation of Thailand’s social environment adaptation situation,it mainly investigated the adaptation of Chinese teachers to the natural environment,cultural customs,and infrastructure of the workplace;the communication status mainly investigated the communication that Chinese teachers experienced during their work and life in Thailand.Obstacles and the causes of communication barriers;psychological conditions examine the negative psychological sentiments that Chinese teachers generate during their stay in Thailand and the causes of the negative psychology of Chinese teachers.Through the survey,it is found that there are universal difficulties in cross-cultural adaptation during the short-term Chinese teachers of Yunnan Universityin Thailand.The main reasons are the different natural environments,cultural customs and economic development levels of China and Thailand.In response to the difficulty of cross-cultural adaptation faced by Chinese teachers in the survey,combined with the author’s own experience,the article gives suggestions for improving Chinese teachers’ cross-cultural adaptation. |
