The administration department of an enterprise is the department that provides guidance,supervision,support and service for the operation of the enterprise.The normal operation of an enterprise is inseparable from the administration department,even though the administration department has no direct relationship with the operating performance of the enterprise.The head of administration department belongs to enterprise middle-manager.Due to the work characteristics of administration department,it is difficult to establish an effective performance assessment system.If the problems of performance assessment of administration department heads don't be set down well,the passion for work of them will be hindered.It will be a restriction of an enterprise.The predecessor of Y Media Company was a public institution,the performance assessment of employees in administration of Y Media Company were carried out in a similar system with public institution in the past.In 2016,Y Media Company improved the performance assessment of administration personnel.The new performance assessment system has achieved a good result,however,the defects still exist.The development of Y Media Company is restricted by the defects of the performance assessment of administration heads.The purpose of this thesis is to locate the existing issues according to analyzing the performance assessment system of the current administration department heads of Y Media Company.In view of the existing problems,this thesis will state how to optimize the performance assessment indexes and weights by balanced scorecard(BSC)and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),to improve the appraisal method by Graphic Rating Scales(GRS),to carry out the performance feedback and interview,etc.In addition,in order to ensure the implementation of performance assessment,and promote the management department heads' work enthusiasm,this thesis suggest that carrying out the training of performance assessment,improving the application of performance assessment result,adjusting the assessment indicators and weights,consummating the relevant human resource management system.Due to there is little difference of the functions of administration department among enterprise,the research approach of this thesis may provide a reference to improve the performance assessment system of middle-managers and low-level managers of administration department in another company.
