Blue and white porcelain,as a traditional handicraft technique handed on for thousands of years,whose typicalcharacteristic is to use cobalt materials to draw decorative patterns on porcelain billets.The earliest use of cobalt decoration on ceramics was discovered in Huangye Kiln in Gongyi City,Henan Province,in the Tang Dynasty.The development of contemporary blue and white art in Jingdezhen was influenced by many factors,among which,should the development of blue and white art be developed in a different way,boldly innovated,breaking through the shackles of traditional techniques,or keeping with the trend of international social development today,protecting traditional handicraft culture,innovating on the basis of tradition,inheriting the essence of traditional culture,injecting new technology,theory and ideas to develop?This is the contemporary blue and white art development problems to be solved.This article is decided to be written after reading a lot of books,visiting some artisans,masters,artists engaged in blue and white art.For the development of contemporary blue and white art in Jingdezhen,I think we should start thinking from these aspects.First of all,blue and white porcelain has a national character and has the color of oriental traditional culture.Its aesthetic cognition and creative pursuit should meet the needs of the public.In order to allow people of different levels,different cultural levels and different aesthetic pursuits to enjoy the art of blue and white flowers;Secondly,in the political,economic,cultural integration of the world today,the development of blue and white art should also look at the world,once again standing in the world of ceramic art stage,then,the creation of blue and white art should absorb the essence of Western art also take Chinese traditional art culture essence;Finally,artisans,masters and artists engaged in blue-and-white art should also improve their theoretical consciousness and make their own theoretical ideas about "resources of traditional handicraft skills" and "Chinese experience".According to the realistic problems of China's social development and the reality of social transformation,and in combination with the rich traditional cultural resources of Chinese society with a long history,we should carry out theoretical innovations of originality or originality.For the better development of contemporary blue and white art lay a solid foundation.
