The Research And Innovative Application On The Decorative Technical Skills In Combination Of Dyeing And Embroidery In Miao Nationality's Apparel Of Guizhou Province

Guizhou is one area of China with largest population of Miao Nationality,which owns numerous branches of Miao Nationality with various apparel types.The gorgeous and elegant apparel of Miao Nationality is famous for its exquisite weaving,dyeing,and embroidery.Among this,the decorative technical skills in combination of dyeing and embroidery are even more fantastic.Even on any of a traditional dress of Miao Nationality,we can discover the decorative traces in combination of dyeing and embroidery.In this thesis,research methods including the literature collection,on-site field survey,and case analysis&comparison are applied to research the decorative techniques in combination of dyeing and embroidery in Miao Nationality's apparel from two aspects:"techniques" and "skills".Firstly,the humanistic background of Miao Nationality's apparel is given an overview;secondly,the deep analysis and research are conducted on the combination dyeing and embroidery from the decorative techniques,decorative styles,decorative parts,decorative patterns,decorative causes,and decorative aesthetic features;finally,on the basis of this,the innovative research and application are carried out to the decorative elements of Miao Nationality's dyeing and embroidery applied in modern apparel.From the perspective of the combination of two technologies,this thesis elaborates the decorative features of Miao Nationality's apparel in Guizhou Province,combs&records excellent traditional technical skills,and provides national culture elements for the contemporary designer,expecting to perfectly merge Miao Nationality's traditional decorative technical skills of dyeing and embroidery into the modern apparel so as to better serve for contemporary life and establish our national confidence.
