Experience And Songs In The Remote South Of China

Liu zongyuan spent 14 years in the south of China("Nanhuang"),including 10 years in Yongzhou and four years in Liuzhou.His poetry creation mainly focused on these two periods,and there were 160 poems handed down,but his poetry achievements were extraordinary,which occupied an important position in history of poetry in the mid Tang Dynasty.Liu zongyuan's long career in the south gave him enough time to observe and experience the customs and scenery of "Nanhuang" His poems showed the scenery of Yongzhou and the folk customs of Liuzhou.Liu zongyuan's experience in "Nanhuang" was based on the culture of Central Plain and observed the natural environment,cultural atmosphere and folk customs of Yongzhou and Liuzhou.During the Yongzhou period,Liu zongyuan gradually became calm.He could observe the landscape of yongzhou carefully and feel its quiet beauty.In Liuzhou period,Liu zongyuan's emotion was indignant,and the poetic image selection and expression were different from Yongzhou.This is because Yuanhe ten years,Liu zongyuan became angry,which directly affected the Liuzongyuan 's experience of scenery and folk in Liuzhou.In other words,Liu zongyuan's poetry benefited from his experiences in "Nanhuang".Yongzhou landscape is mainly characterized by quiet,Liuzhou folk is strange and terrible.They are presented in liu zongyuan's poems in different forms,thus forming the corresponding poetic style.The former is"clear and guqiao",while the latter is "cold to be towering and "sad is indignant".Therefore,this paper takes "experience" as the core concept,and investigates Liu zongyuan's perception,appreciation and internalization of the natural environment and humanistic atmosphere of the "Nanhuang",as well as how to integrate the individual characteristics and living state with the experience of the"Nanhuang" in his creation.This kind of poetry creation based on the experience of"Nanhuang" is also embodied in Liu yuxi and Han yu.Through comparative study,the influence of personality difference and residence time on southern experience was discussed.
