The seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass are located in the transitional zone between the grassland and the central plains. In the Ming Dynasty, the policy of the seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass showed a change process from strict to loose, from emphasis to abandonment. The three transitions of Chenghua,Hongzhi and Zhengde were both important periods for the Ming Dynasty and a crucial period for the transformation of the Ming Dynasty,s seven-guard policy. The seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass are built in the Yongle period.ln the political vision of Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Di,the seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass are the barrier of the northwest frontier of the Ming government, and there are a buffer zone for the war disaster with Beilu. Therefore,it pays more attention to the exchange between the Ming goverment and the seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass.During the period of Chenghua,Hongzhi and Zhengde, they followed the thought of the rule of the former dynasty and adopted the principle of synvretisn and barbarians against barbarians. However, during this period,Turpan quickly rose to prove its strong strength to the Ming government with a tough stance. The seven guards were disintegrated in their territorial expansion, and the Ming government was forced to abandon the territory of Jiayuguan. The strengths of the Chenghua,Hongzhi and Zhengde declined from the early Ming Dynasty, and they lost the confidence of the big powers in the early days of the founding of the country. In addition, their own strength declined and the majesty gradually ceased. Therefore, the attitude towards the seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass is generally negative. When Hami emerged from a crisis,it was the Chenghua Emperor's administration, and the Ming government did not take effective measures in time. The Hongzhi Dynasty is known as the "Hongzhi Zhongxing".In this context, the operation of this place is a bright color in the three dynasties. The inconsistency of the emperor of the Zhengde Dynasty and the actions of the ministers led to the "Gansu Incident".Moreover, through the small character of XieYihuxian, this can be seen in the design of the imperial court system. The most crucial thing is that in the three control of the seven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass, they did not realize the importance of setting up officials and garrisons, and still retain the idea of"The difference between Chinese and barbarians." Eventually, the Ming government was forced to abandon the west of Jiayu pass, which also meant that theseven garrisons in the west of Jiayu pass policy ended in failure.
