Research On The Manner Adverbs Of "X?" In Modern Chinese

The author selects six two-syllable words ending with "?" including "??" "??" "??" "??" "??" "??" and divides them into three groups according totheir semantic features.They are:Manner adverbs of "??" category,Manner adverbsof�?? "category.Manner adverbs of "??"category.In this paper,the comparativeanalysis of manner adverbs is mainly combined with three-plane basic theories.The first chapter is introduction,which mainly introduces the purpose,significance,object and scope of the search.In this chapter,each word in "X ?" isidentified as the modal adverb,and the related research of the fixed term "?" in "X?" is introduced.This chapter arranges the research status of these six ways adverbs,and explains the theory,method and corpus of this thesis.In the second chapter,the semantic features of these six words are analyzedfirstly.The semantic features are taken as the classification basis of these three typesof words.Then the similarities and differences of the semantic features of eachcategory of words are further analyzed with concrete examples.In This chapter,theauthor also analyzes the semantic orientation of adverbs in various ways,the singularand plural of the subject,and whether the various words can be replaced in the samecontext.In the third chapter,the author inspects the syntax of the adverb "X?".The "X?" category adverbs usually act as adverbials which appear before the main predicateverb in the sentence,explaining the way of action.The syntactic characteristics ofeach type of word can be obtained by examining the collocation of the "X ?" categoryadverbs and verbs.In addition,a comparative analysis of the collocation of "X?" category adverbs with other adverbs can also help us to determine the scope ofmodification of various adverbs and to find out the relevant adverbial conjunctions.In the fourth chapter,the author focuses on the pragmatics of the "X ?" categoryadverbs,showing the frequency and distribution of the three categories of adverbs inthe corpus in the form of data and tables.In the distribution of genre,it can be seenthat the "X ?" category adverbs have the effect of expressing specific emotions.In thecomparative analysis of the three categories of adverbs subjective show that the!subjectivity of "??" is stronger than�??�the subjectivity of "??" is strongerthan "??";the subjectivity of "??" is stronger than "??"The last part is the conclusion which presents a final summary.Meanwhile itpoints out the deficiency of this study and the problems that need to be furtherdiscussed.
