Research On The Right Hand Technique Of Double Bass

Double Bass belongs to the violin family.As an important bass string instrument,it plays an important role in different kinds of bands.The bass,whether solo or ensemble with the orchestra,has different requirements for right-hand playing techniques,different styles of music,and different playing methods.This paper intends to do some practical research on the right-hand playing technique of bass.This paper will discuss in detail the right hand bow holding method,bow pressure,bow speed,bow changing,bow stopping,bow jumping and other common performance methods.In addition,the training methods of some techniques are tried and explored.Furthermore,it explores how to produce better timbre.At the same time,these techniques and music are combined to carry out practical analysis and application.This paper will make a detailed analysis and explanation of the key band difficult fragments in Mozart's Forty Symphony and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony,which are well-known band fragments stipulated in international competitions,and point out the problems and mistakes that should be paid attention to in performance.The purpose of this paper is to clarify the methods and concepts of right-hand bass playing,and then to give some help and guidance to bass learners in playing techniques.It is also the main purpose of this study.
