Around the May Fourth Movement,The western realistic literary thoughts represented by France spread to China and formed the main tide of realism in our country through the propaganda,promotion and development of new literature advocates.In the process of the spread of realism,the new writers did not simply copy the French realist literary trend,but based on the advanced Western ideas,combined with China's actual situation.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of realism: Firstly I demarcate realism from the three dimensions of creation method,literary trend and theoretical terminology,and then combines the characteristics of French realism with the history of the May Fourth New Literature to explore the fit between the two.The second part is about the spread of realism in China: The author starts from the historical context of new literary realism,and discusses the spread of realism in China in a diachronic perspective,and summarizes the main features presented in the process of communication.The third part is to analyze the influence of realism on Chinese literary world: Taking Mao Dun and Li Jieren as examples,analyzed their realism theory and creation and found out the unique realistic view formed under the influence of French realism,then analyzed the actual impact of realism on the construction of new Chinese literature.The fourth part is about the sinicization of realism: It mainly discusses the variation of realism and its causes,the modernity of realism and the comparison of Sino-French realism these three parts,thus explore the national characteristics and unique qualities displayed in the dissemination and acceptance of realism in China.
