The Study On Mr.Guo Jinxi’s ShijingLice

Mr.GUO jinxi is a well-known contemporary phonologist and an expert in ancient Chinese literature and literary theory.Based on Chinese Traditional Exegetics(中国传统小学),he has made a thorough study of the Book of Songs(《诗经》)by using the theoretical methods of the new era.As a result of Mr.Guo Jinxi’s many years’research on the Book of Songs,ShijingLice(《诗经蠡测》)is a book with profound achievements and new ideas.This paper explores the main ideas,research methods and academic characteristics of ShijingLice,studies the causes of its methods and achievements,and tries to further explore its academic value in the exploration of its contents and methods.This article mainly includes five parts:The first part summarizes the origin,background of the Book of Songs(《诗经》)and the writing and publishing process of Mr.Guo Jinshi’s ShijingLice(《诗经蠡测》).Mr.Guo Jinxi’s research on the Book of Songs is the result of his work,but also his aspiration and interest.In addition to the temporary suspension of the special period,he has been insisting on the study of the Book of Songs and the accumulation of notes,which ultimately contributed to the emergence of ShijingLice.The second part discusses the main ideas in ShijingLice.Mr.Guo’s research on the Book of Songs pays attention to both foundation and innovation.Through reading and thinking of a large number of classics,he put forward the theory of"robbing marriage","group poems","south"in GuoFeng,two"south"works appeared in the reign of ZHOU YOU WANG and ZHOU LI WANG,"Zhou Shao"in two"south"refers to ZHOU DING GONG and SHAO MU GONG,two"south"in"south"is the general name,and There are Shang and Zhou epics in Daya and Shang Song."MaoGong’s Book of Songs are not divided into chapters as stereotypes"and other unique points of view.these views not only at that time has great significance,even now these new ideas still have a unique value for us to read the Book of Songs provides more reference.The third part summarizes the research methods in ShijingLice.Mr.Guo has a wide range of interests in the study of rhyme,ancient literature,ancient literary theory and other fields.Therefore,in addition to the use of Chinese Traditional Exegetics(中国传统小学),he also applies unearthed materials(history,textual research),folklore,literature and art to the study of the Book of Songs.Summarizing the research methods of ShijingLice will play an active role in the future study of the Book of Songs.The fourth part summarizes the academic characteristics of ShijingLice.Mainly summarized from four aspects:(1)Respect for academics,pay attention to inheritance.Mr.Guo has a profound knowledge.He not only attaches importance to the inheritance of teachers,but also is good at summarizing the achievements of predecessors and paying attention to the inheritance of academics.(2)The whole connection,interpreting poetry by poetry.When we understand Poetry,we should base on the whole,connect the upper and lower levels,and interpret Poetry accurately and conveniently.(3)Pay attention to the pattern and reveal the general rules.The summary of the patterns not only shows that they are extremely familiar with the works,but also reflects their macroscopic observation angle.The summary of the general rules can also promote the practice of"interpreting poetry by the Book of Songs".(4)Focus on innovation and seek truth from facts.This is a very remarkable feature of ShijingLice.Whether it is the proposition of various innovations or the application of new methods of poetry interpretation,the whole book embodies innovation and scientificity.The fifth part will discuss the academic significance of ShijingLice.First of all,ShijingLice is an innovative work.In addition to the innovation of content and viewpoint in the book,this is mainly reflected in Mr.Guo Jinxi’s sensitivity to new theoretical methods.On the one hand,he put forward the theory of group poetry,which raised the study of group poetry in The Book of Songs to a theoretical level.On the other hand,he applied the new theory appropriately,especially the discussion of realism in the Book of Songs,and discussed it in the light of the actual situation of Chinese literature,rather than copying foreign theories.Secondly,ShijingLice is a transitional work.On the one hand,his inheritance of traditional knowledge and methods embodies his spirit of inheriting academic knowledge.On the other hand,his application of modern theory and methods,and his discussion of some Macro-problems at that time,all stood in the era at that time and paid close attention to academic trends,merged the new into the old,and carried out the academic research of blending the old with the new and connecting the past.
