With the continuous and deepening development of the new curriculum reform,the curriculum standards put forward much more specific requirements for English vocabulary teaching than before.Increasing vocabulary brings certain difficulties for high school English teaching and learning.As a special group of high school art students,their English is generally weak compared with ordinary high school students,and there is a gap between English vocabulary teaching and curriculum standards.With the popularity of mobile learning,the existing APP integrates various digital learning technology advantages and provides powerful technical support for high school art students' English vocabulary teaching.This research mainly adopts the method of action research,taking the four steps of “planning,action implementation,observation and analysis,and problem reflection” as the research framework,based on the current situation of English vocabulary teaching of high school art students,and the above-mentioned practical teaching problems,carrying out the design and practice of English vocabulary teaching for high school art students supported by APP,aiming to explore the implementation strategies of English vocabulary teaching supported by APP for high school art students.Before and after the implementation of the action research,the English vocabulary knowledge of the art students was tested,and the vocabulary learning situation was investigated by questionnaires and teachers' interviews to learn more about the opinions and suggestions about the vocabulary teaching of art students.In each round of teaching practice,the instructor observes the lectures and fills in the classroom observation form,and uses a large amount of procedural data in the iterative practice to analyze,continuously optimizing the application strategy of APP,and finally solve the actual problem in the high school art students' English vocabulary teaching.Finally,this study summarizes and explains the implementation strategies of APPsupported in high school art students' English vocabulary teaching from three aspects: pre-school preparation strategy,classroom application strategy and after-school consolidation strategy,which provides reference for front-line teachers to carry out mobile learning.The effect of teaching practice shows that the design and practice of English vocabulary teaching supported by APP in high school is beneficial to stimulate the interest of art students to recite words,master the methods of word memory,and improve the practical application of English vocabulary.
