Nowadays,due to the influence of exam-oriented thinking in the middle school entrance examination,the English teaching in junior high school has fallen into the situation of one-sided pursuit of scores.Many front-line teachers only pay attention to the imparting of language knowledge,and treat various types of English classes according to the grammar class.They focus on training students' test-taking skills in quizzing tactics,but ignore the systematic cultivation of language practical application ability,especially the cultivation of English listening and speaking ability.With the promulgation of English curriculum standards for compulsory education,teachers gradually realize the importance of cultivating students' comprehensive language competence in English classes.Therefore,teaching with main purpose of imparting language knowledge is gradually replaced by the interactive teaching mode.After reading the literature,the author learned that the interactive teaching mode is widely used in various class teaching in various learning sections,but it is mainly focused on the research on senior high school and college,and rarely involved in the research on the interactive teaching mode of listening and speaking class in village middle schools.Therefore,it is particularly important to use interactive teaching to effectively teach English listening and speaking in village middle schools,comprehensively improve students' listening and speaking level,and improve their enthusiasm for learning English.This study is mainly based on PWP teaching model of listening and speaking course.This teaching in English listening and speaking course introduces effective introduction of interests-learning words and sentences in situations effectively-effective penetration strategies in listening-effective consolidation in application in Class 1,Grade 7 in a village middle school where the author works.Combined with the actual teaching cases and work experience,the reflection of listening and speaking class try to find out the really effective types of class interaction activities and the basises of choosing activities,test whether effective interactive teaching helps to improve the level of students' listening and speaking and whether the students' views on interactive teaching have changed before and after the implementation of effective interactive teaching.The author has carried out two stages of research,the research time is one and a half years.In the course of the research,the data was collected by questionnaire survey,stage test,pre-test and post-test,and interview.SPSS software was used to analyze the data.Finally,the author made a paired sample T-test based on the two-stage test data,the pre-and post-test data and the two questionnaires before and after the action research.and analyzed the results of the three interviews,Combining with the practical teaching cases,the author made a systematic analysis through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods and found that:effective interactive teaching has a positive effect on improving students' listening and speaking ability.Students were willing to accept the author's effective integration of modern life elements(voice function of Weixin and QQ)and interactive activities of listening and speaking classes;they were active in interactive activities based on creating real situations to effectively stimulate listening and speaking desire;and they were effective in promoting interactive activities based on innovation and all students.At the same time,the students' understanding of effective interactive teaching has changed greatly,especially in the aspects of students' interaction,cooperative communication and initiative to participate in activities in listening and speaking classes.Therefore,effective interactive teaching has a positive impact on English listening and speaking classes in junior high school and is conducive to improve students' listening and speaking level.This study will provide teaching ideas and teaching experience for the effective interactive teaching design of listening and speaking class for English teachers in junior middle schools.
