Aggression is a very common phenomenon in society,and the problem of aggression has always been an important problem plaguing human society.Human aggressive behavior is affected by many factors,individual factors and situational factors can affect human behavior.As a situational variable,the sense of power exists in many aspects of life.Studies found that the sense of power can affect people's behavior.This study focused on the impact of the priming of individual power on aggressive behavior.The study of self-esteem and aggressiveness is also one of the hot topics of scholars nowadays.As a stable personality trait,self-esteem was a protective structure with certain defensive or protective functions,which can help individuals cope with external threats.Individuals with different levels of self-esteem have different responses to threats.Therefore,this study attempted to explore the differences of aggression among individuals with different levels of self-esteem and the attention bias of individuals with low self-esteem under different priming powers.The study used Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale to screen out college students with high and low self-esteem levels.In experiment 1,the power sense of the subjects was activated by word search task,and the explicit aggression of the subjects was measured by Buss-Perry aggression questionnaire.In experiment 2,IAT was used to measure the implicit aggression of College students.In experiment 3,spatial cue task was used to explore the attentional bias characteristics of low self-esteem under the priming of power.This study finally draws the following conclusions:(1)Under the priming of high power sense,there was no significant difference in aggressiveness among individuals;Started by a low sense of power,students with low self-esteem had higher explicit and implicit aggression than those with high self-esteem,and were more likely to attack others.(2)Started by low power sense,low self-esteem college students tended to pay attention to aggressive information,which was divided into attention relief difficulties.
