The research of teachers' beliefs is from paying attention to the explicit teaching behavior of teachers to paying attention to the teaching concept of teachers.The belief of teachers guides the teaching behavior of teachers.The study of teachers' beliefs can understand the inner world of teachers and reflect on teaching behavior.Taking the Chinese teachers of the Confucius Institute in Rwanda as the survey object,the paper focuses on the key points of language teaching and language-grammar as the research content,and explores the grammar teaching beliefs and formation factors of Chinese teachers in Rwanda to reflect on the teaching of Chinese grammar and the training of Chinese teachers.The survey is divided into two parts:questionnaires analysis and personal interview analysis.The questionnaire was divided into 15 dimensions,which were scored using a five-level quantitative table,and statistical analysis and analysis were performed using SPSS 17.0.This paper analyzes the characteristics,individual characteristics and factors that may affect the formation of grammatical beliefs of Rwandan Chinese teachers.Then personal interviews confirm these 15 dimensions,and find that the interview analysis results are basically consistent with the conclusions of the questionnaire analysis.We also reserved the difficulties and problems in the grammar teaching of the Confucius Institute at Rwanda.In the personal interviews,we use stimulating memories to explore the impact of important events on Chinese teachers'grammar teaching beliefs.There are 12 conclusions and findings in this study.The grammatical beliefs of Chinese teachers in the Confucius Institute in Rwanda are relatively open.The two characteristics of communicative meaning and biased sentence practice are obvious.Finally,based on the analysis results,reasonable suggestions were given to Chinese teachers,Confucius Institute at Rwanda University,and Chinese International Education.Chinese teachers should open their own teaching beliefs and optimize the use of different grammar teaching methods.The Confucius Institutes use their own advantages,attach importance to academic research and research,and regulearly train Chinese teachers,prepare lessons for each other,and observe each other.Regardless of whether domestic universities or training institutions should focus on the cultivation of Chinese teachers,the training of Chinese teachers should also pay attention to the cultivation of a growing number of local teachers.
