After World War ? in 1940s,Thai overseas Chinese literature has become popular among Thai people which is called 'the golden age period'.As a result,the dark age of the Thai overseas Chinese literature was ended.Regarding the literature world community,the left-wing and the right-wing theory has been developed for improving the Thai overseas Chinese literature writers including both typical Thai and half Thai-Chinese writers in terms of the way to express their attitudes through their writings.Especially the 'The People's Daily' newspaper,it represents the left-wing literature in terms of the acceptance of China mainland's concept through various kinds of literary forms.This study,in particular,takes 'The People's Daily'newspaper to compare with the China mainland newspaper in order to study some similarities and differences between the perspectives of the left-wing and the right-wing newspapers.The main contents of this research are divided into three parts,including introduction,body of the text,and a conclusion.The first chapter focuses on the development trends of the left-wing literature of the Thai overseas Chinese literature after World War ?.Particularly,the analysis of the chapter covers the influence of the left-wing literature on Thai society and Thai overseas Chinese people,the development of Chinese newspaper and mass media before and after World War ?,and the history of 'The People's Daily'newspaper.The second chapter reviews the literature about the left-wing literature of Thai overseas Chinese people by specially look at 'The People's Daily' newspaper,the literary outcomes in the newspaper,the literature and arts roles in the society,the persistency in position and principles of the literature social class,the supporting activities for maintaining the literature and arts,and the differences of the main qualification of each type of literature.The third chapter analyzes the literary works in 'The People's Daily' newspaper which is divided into categories such as a painful memory of War,a recall of painful and trouble life of people in the World War ? period,an against of Japan and a fight with rebel,rich and poor social class in the society,an influence of new ideas on Thai overseas Chinese people such as the expectation of future,peace and equality for democracy,freedom and unity of people,an against of war in the country,an against of Fascism,an investigation of equality in democracy,political meetings,jobless people,problems of youth and woman,changes of economic and situations in other countries,and the classification of literary types.The last chapter discusses differences between 'The People's Daily' newspaper and other types of newspapers such as 'Zhengyan Daily' and history of the'Zhongyuan Daily'in the perspective of the right-wing.The main purpose to compare is to study similarities and differences of ideas and situations in the society after World War ?.
