A Study On The Marriage Map Of Dunhuang Murals

The marriage map in Dunhuang murals reproduces the changes of wedding customs from Tang to Song dynasties in Dunhuang area.It reflects the economic,cultural and religious exchanges and integration between China and the countries of the Western region through the Silk Road at that time.It not only shows different picture schemata,but also leaves a wealth of image data in clothing and utensils.Starting with the origin,existence and regional distribution of the ship marriage map in Dunhuang murals,this paper analyzes the overall composition of the marriage picture,focusing on the artistic features of the ship marriage map,such as character modeling,decoration,architecture,utensils and so on.According to the content and expression form of the marriage map,this paper analyzes the development and evolution of the expression form of the ship marriage map under the background of different times.This paper focuses on the analysis of the artistic characteristics of the wedding picture,the analysis of the character dynamics,the arrangement of positions and the composition of the picture as a whole,and the study of its decoration style and expression techniques.And the architectural characteristics of the picture,utensils modeling and its painting techniques into the collation.
