A Study Of Wang Yang-Ming's Political Philosophy

Wang Yang-Ming's philosophy plays an important role in the development of Song Ming's Confucianism,which is a response to Zhu Zixue.Wang Yang-Ming's philosophy has always been regarded as a knowledge about the nature of the mind.This paper holds that it not only has the connotation of the philosophy of the mind,but also contains the discussion of the political philosophy.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part discusses the factors that promote the formation of Wang Yang-Ming's political philosophy.On the one hand,it is the influence of the times:in the Song Ming period,the change of the status of monarch and minister.On the other hand,Zhu Zixue's influence on Wang Yang-Ming:Wang Yang-Ming put forward to bring "Tian Lin" into "mind" according to the defect of Zhu Zi's mind and object.The second part discusses the content of Wang Yang-Ming's political philosophy.Wang Yang-Ming's thought is consistent,we can not cut out the part of the philosophy of mind,nor can we cut out the part of political philosophy with one knife.In Wang Yang-Ming's thought,"Li(?)" presents an objective state in everyone's heart,which means that "Li(?)"has axiom,which is also the possibility of everyone's equality,and advocates "Zhi Liang Zhi" for all the members of society,which provides the social purpose for the people.In the thought of"Zhi Xing He Yi",Wang Yang-Ming established the relationship between moral and political implementation through "knowledge".Then this paper discusses the division of social strata,social equality,the basis of law and the prospect of ideal politics one by one.The third part discusses how Wang Yang-Ming's political practice embodies his political philosophy.From the rural system in the Chun Qui period to the rural contract in Song Ming period,this is the manifestation of the tension between clan power and imperial power.In the process of Wang Yang-Ming's governance of the people,his moral requirement for everyone is the political philosophy idea of unifying the social purpose and the personal purpose.In the fourth part,through the above analysis of Wang Yang-Ming's political philosophy,we can see his influence on later thinkers and analyze the predicament contained in his political philosophy.Finally,by analyzing the influence of Wang Yang-Ming's thought we can see that Wang Yang-Ming's political philosophy has not died out with the passage of the times.Instead,it is constantly providing inspiration for thinkers of different ages.
