With the continuous development of economic globalization,Chinese people's going abroad and foreigners' entry to China have led an increasing number of economic activities,and caused legal disputes.Therefore,in todays society,the understanding of both domestic and foreign laws is of great importance.Texts on agreements,contracts,terms and other aspects are involved in international exchanges.However,due to the differences in legal texts among countries,disputes are often prone to occur during the formulation and implementation of these agreements,contracts and terms.Until now,legal translation has become an important branch of translation studies,so the translation of related works is particularly importantThis subject is about the practice report of the Chinese translation of Australia's Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988.Through its Chinese translation from the perspective of vocabulary,sentence and text,this report discusses the issues that need attention and problems encountered in the process of the translation of economic legal texts as well as the usage of translation skills in legal texts to subtly solve the difficulties and key points during translation.The respect of vocabulary mainly discusses modal verbs,tautological words,vague words,abbreviations and legal terms.The respect of sentence is mainly summarized in simple sentences,compound sentences and passive sentences.At the respect of text,the report sums up the structure and expression characteristics of legal texts by analyzing the macro and micro perspectives.In addition,during the Chinese translation of this Act,the translator enriches the relevant legal knowledge,expands the vocabulary of legal English,and thus masters the translation methods and skills of related texts...
