Panoramic Realm: From Cui Bai’s Shuangxi Tu To My Artistic Creation

Panoramic flower-and-bird painting,as one of the important categories of flower-and-bird painting,has the characteristics of large pattern,great boldness and profound artistic conception.However,the definition,category of panoramic flower-and-bird painting and how to create such pattern and artistic conception are seldom discussed systematically and deeply by predecessors.This paper takes Cui Bai’s Shuangxi Tu,a representative panoramic flower-and-bird painting,which has a far-reaching impact on later generations,as an entry point,after complete copying and learning,through analysis and induction from different angles,to show the creative way and unique charm of panoramic flower-and-bird painting in a small way and three-dimensional way,to get tips in classical works and broaden their creative ideas.The first part of this paper is the general situation of Cui Bai’s representative panoramic flower-and-bird painting Shuangxi Tu,which is interpreted from the scope and development of panoramic flower-and-bird painting,the background and significance of Cui Bai’s Shuangxi Tu’s creation;the second part is the creation of the panoramic realm of Cui Bai’s Shuangxi Tu and Its Inspiration to me,respectively,from six directions of setting up the scene,aesthetic connotation and spiritual realm.The third part: my panoramic flower-and-bird painting creation practice,elaborated from the three processes of conception,composition and color design.
